LASER CUTTING

Here at Small Order Springs and Pressing Ltd, we have always strived to have the latest in metal working machinery. Our latest acquirement in technology is a Trumpf Trumatic L2530 Plus laser cutter.

The Trumpf features the tried and proven, high quality design of TRUMPF flatbed laser machines that
guarantees high levels of speed, precision and flexibility. Thanks to the intelligent use of the new Sprint axis, the machines dynamics and reaction time have increased substantially. Especially in the programming of parts
with small contours, meaning notably faster machining speeds and yet higher productivity.

Using Nitrogen, Oxygen or Air, the Trumpf laser can
cut up to 20mm mild steel, 15mm stainless steel and 10mm aluminum. It also has the capability to cut other materials such as brass and copper, saving our
customers the trouble of having to fork out for a
blanking tool on parts that can be cut from a sheet.

With interchanging beds of 1250mm x 2500mm,
twinned with our Lantek programming software, we
have the ability to produce the most amount of parts possible from a 2500mm x 1250mm sheet of material, thus ensuring there is as little waste material as
possible.
